My Dhul Hijjah Plan: A Qur'an Journey You're Invited To Join

Dhul Hijjah is here again to offer another chance to gain immense rewards, have our sins forgiven and reach great levels of piety, Insha’Allah.

The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are often referred to as the best ten days of the year, and a second chance after Ramadan. For those of us not performing the Hajj pilgrimage this year, this is still a great time of blessing and immense reward.

As Dhul Hijjah is here, I'm excited to share my Qur'an plan with you all. This year, I'm taking on a Qur'an journey like no other, and I'd love you to join me.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said; “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” [Sahih al-Bukhari].

That's why I'm being intentional about making the most of these blessed days.

My Qur'an Plan:

I'm committing to a structured Qur'an completion schedule for the first 9 days. I'll be reading about 7 Hizb (3.5 Juz) daily, aiming to finish by Eid. It's not just about finishing, though it is about earning Allah's pleasure in the days He loves, connecting with the Qur'an, seeking forgiveness, clarity, and inner peace, and also to build a habit that lasts beyond Dhul Hijjah.

You can also join me. Don't worry, the schedule is flexible. So you won't feel overwhelmed. You can pair up with a friend for accountability.

You can do what you're capable of, even 1 Hizb daily with sincerity. It's not about the quantity, but the quality of your effort and the sincerity of your intention. May Almighty Allah ease it.

To easily get started, write the schedule, mark your Qur'an, and set aside quiet reading time. Keep a Qur'an journal to note impactful ayahs. And make a heartfelt niyyah and dua to stay consistent.

Here’s the Full 9-Day Qur’an Reading Schedule
